Ever feel like someone just drop kicked you, then ran off with your lunch money… or worse, you watched someone big do that to someone little, and get away with it?
I was recently in the middle of a seriously conflicting situation and caught myself thinking “If only I had a super power that would allow me to influence people’s minds so that I could tattle on you, without actually telling anyone anything, but get you totally busted while being super mature at the same time”. (I think that’s the key to super powers, you’re always mature when you’re using them, because no matter what you do with them, it’s super and therefore mature).
What are your injustices? How do you handle them? Do you handle them?

Are you the type that can laugh at lolcats for hours?
Not hours… But minutes, yes. Less minutes than Barge though. He loves lolcats.
*suspects she knows what triggered this*
*realizes that there’s much she doesn’t know*
*retracts suspicion, but ponders*
I don’t handle injustices well. I clench and rail and pace and cry. I shake and fume.
Well, until I see it happening to my baby girl. And then I become a person I didn’t realize I had inside of me.
But I don’t know how to defend myself. Not with grace in any case.
It’s possible that your suspicions are correct Gaelicspirit
And, while I have yet to reach the mama stage, I find that there’s this other person who exists in me that only comes out when someone is mean to my little sisters… It got me into trouble more than once in high school. I suspect that this same lady will resurface with child bearing…
My gosh, I’m pretty ugly about this. And not in the way I want to be… haha!
When I hear about an injustice, I rant and rave and go off for hours… and then I lose all my steam and become really passive about the subject.
If I witness an injustice, I am fuming furiously inside, but to such a high degree that I find myself wordless. Literally. When I’m angry, I can’t talk.
Hopefully the passivity is coming to an end… then the world must watch out!!
